Friends, I am sad to pass along that my friend since college, Diane Sims Page, has passed away from breast cancer. She was a real force for good in this world. She and her husband, Alan Page, have dedicated their lives to family, justice and helping thousands of students of color receive college scholarships derived from the Page Education Foundation.

Diane was a person to emulate. She truly made her mark and will be missed by thousands, and by her loving, precious family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in Sims Page's honor to the Page Education Foundation.

During a time when we all may feel very divided, we need more people with the spirit of Diane Sims Page. At Lord + Heinlein we very much believe in the work of the Page Education Foundation, which is why we have been a past sponsor and contributor. We hope the Foundation continues its important and powerful work in the absence of such a fierce force for equality.
